September 7, 2021— The Department of Education Regional Office III reports its advanced level readiness in line with the opening of classes in public schools this coming September 13.
During the Oplan Balik Eskwela Virtual Media Conference held today, RD May Eclar stressed that all the 3,656 public elementary and secondary schools in the region are ready for the opening of classes.
Based on the school readiness report, DepEd Region III obtained an average of 81.19% Advanced level of readiness and the factors that show advanced level of readiness are Planning and Governance, Teacher Support, School Head Support, Support to Parents and Guardians, and Health and Safety protocols. Meanwhile, factors that still need to be given attention before the school opening are Enrollment, Learning Resources, and Learner Support and Well-Being.
As of date, DepEd Region III registered a total of 1,854,717 enrollees in all sectors or 66% of last year’s enrollment and this is 69% of the Projected Enrollment of 2,699,515. Enrollment in all public schools will be until September 13, 2021.
